Thank you both for being there for me when I was growing up. I am a musician. my full name is Nancy Joyce Howard Williams.I was born and raised in Balto.,MD.When I was 12, I started to teach myself guitar(6&12 string). As I grew up,I always listened to your music. I was abused as a child. I still suffer from PTSD. You guys were my favorite musicians. I loved to play and sing your music. I specialize in Christian music. Your music helped me get through one of the hardest times of my life. At 27,my ex-husband brought heroin home. I didn't know what my consequences would be. I just didn't want to feel the pain anymore. In 2000,I lost custody of my 4 daughters.I had stopped playing music, then sold my guitar for drugs. I contracted hep C from my ex-husband when I started sharing a needle with him in 1999. I haven't shot any heroin since 2005. Three months ago,my neice asked me to come to WV.She had a bad opiate habit and was exremely depressed. My heart went out to her and I went. On 1/09/09,I found Tina dead.I tried to bring her back, but it was too late. Here step-mother left her in the van 3 hours before I woke up. Tina had such a good spirit, even when she was in the state she was when I got here. The police are still investigating.I went into shock, and had a nervous break down. Her step-mother kicked me out.I am now a few miles away, living with Tinas' Mom.My liver is almost 1/2 permanantely damaged. My muscles are weak,so I can't sing as well as I use to.I am now back in college. You guys still inspire me with your music.Life is precious. Thank you ladies, you have no idea.Nancy W |

Ladies, you are amazing. I have listened to your music for years. I will be going to Iraq later this year and I plan on taking some of your movies with me just so I can have the kind of music to listen to that I enjoy. I haven't had the chance to see you in concert but maybe one day in the next year and a half perhaps you could do a USO tour to Iraq and Afghanistan. I know the Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen and Marines would thoroughly enjoy seeing you and hearing your music. Keep it up. Your make my days a lot brighter when I hear your music. Especially your older music like barracuda. I remember hearing that when I was in the Corps back in the 80's at MCAS(H) New River, North Carolina. It has always been one of my favorites. Keep it up girls. Your are what America is about and your freedom of music is one reason I went back into the military.
Best Wishes.
Charles

Hi Ann and Nancy. I first met you two at the "My Place" tavern near the airport back in the early 70s. You both rocked the house to the max. I still love your music. Just watched your 2002 DVD concert, it was fantastic. Your both amazing singers and musicians. Your back up band is also very good. Thanks. Bob Hoyt |
