I actually haven't been a really big fan of Heart for too long. Only since November. My dad took me to my first concert (I'm 18 and hadn't gone to a concert before). I knew of Heart and all, but I only knew their big hits like "These Dreams" and "Barracuda". I had heard those songs before, but I never really knew much about them. The concert completely changed me. I heard songs I had never heard before and absolutely loved them! The show made me realize how awesome Heart is. I had heard their songs before, but I had never really listened. Now, I love everything having to do with Heart - all their albums and songs. My favorite album is Desire Walks On. Love it! And my favorite songs include "Down On Me" , "The Situation" , "Mistral Wind" , "I Need the Rain" and "Rock Deep(Vancouver)". Their music is amazing, and Ann and Nancy's book was awesome! There are really no words to describe how much I love Heart. I can always turn to their songs when I just need to get away. Heart is so amazing, and I would not have been able to have said that two months ago.

Long Live HEART!
Heartmonger for life! Big Grin Heart

I first saw Heart in Evansville, IN, late 70's, early 80's(?) Not sure, but Johnny (before he was Mellencamp) Cougar was the opening act. I was so thrilled to be there. I have always said that Heart was one of the few acts (maybe the only) I've ever seen that sounded better live than on a studio album. About midway through the show, Ann flung a towel she'd been using to wipe her brow into the audience and I caught it. The thing I regret was that I was so caught up in the moment I couldn't think of any better way to build on my energy and enthusiasm other than to throw the towel back into the audience and share the experience with someone else. Yeah, I was crazy - crazy in love with Heart! I'm planning to go see them some 35 years after in Tunica MS later this month. Maybe I'll get another chance for a memento - even though the music has always been enough! Seeing Heart live - at least once - should be on everyone's bucket list.

My sister(Carol) sent me this link to Heart. Turning back the clock. Heart was truly my teenage growing up music as my ex brother in law(Brian Johnstone)played the drums for them at that time. 1971-1975(not absolute on the years)When my sister Gail married Brian in 1973 Anne & John Hannah(the then keyboard player) played guitar & flute & sang during the wedding service. Oh the memories. Very sad to say my sister Gail passed in 2003. Some of the memories from the Zodiac in New Westminster, BC to Starvin Marvins in Vancouver. My boyfriend (now husband) Danny & I did a lot of night clubbing back in the day. They also played at my Grad at the Commodore downtown Vancouver in 1975. So many fun times with them. Oh the memories.

My, how time has gone by! "Dreamboat Annie" seems like only yesterday. The music of Heart was the inspiration for my learning to seriously play guitar. "Crazy On You" was the first rock tune I taught myself to play--including Nancy's fantastic intro! I hope I shall have the opportunity to see the band in action once more before we all get "too old" -- LOL

Is there a "Heart Bootleg CD/Album Discography list somewhere?" examples of the popular bootlegs are "Heartland", "Heart n Zeppelin", "Splendid Resurrection" and many others. These are real unofficial company made bootlegs...not the home made kind. Any like minded collectors please email me

Ann & Nancy's performance on Ellen was superb. I've seen Nancy (who threw me her plectrum) sing this live in Dublin in 2004 and I don't understand how both girls keep topping their performances. I've been a fan since mid 80's I'll be a fan for life. Thanks Heart XX
